  • Thursday July 22 AMC Walkway in Downtown Burbank, From swing to swank, the 18-piece Wiseguys Big Band Machine features a screamin' horn line, talented vocalists, exciting soloists, and a roarin' rhythm section. It's a big band Vegas sound that you can bet on!  (San Fernando Bl/Palm Avenue), 818 238-5180,  Festivities kick off nightly at 6:00 P.M. with dance lessons courtesy of Francisco and Stacey of The Dance Family Studio.  Participants can learn the latest dance steps, refine their steps and sharpen their moves before putting it all into practice when the band strikes up.   At 7:00 P.M., the two-hour concert begins with Southern California’s hottest musical acts

  • Friday July 23 finals  Press Box in Westminster, lesson with Jerry Dawson at 6 and 7pm, open dance for WCS and more with at 8pm (lesson and dance separate cost),   finals for progressive  Jack & Jill for $1500 purse,   guest DJ David Koppelman

  • Saturday July 24 All day Funshop Swing meets Country at Top Cats in Placentia, Tom & Sossy Hyatt and Mike Eads,  1 - 6pm,  followed by the 1st  2010 Club Challenge, doors open at 6:30, Advanced Country 2 step lesson at 7pm,  Jumpin Jack DJ

  • Saturday July 24 Carrie Lucas at Avant Garde, Phil Adams teaches WCS at 7pm, open dance with DJ Mark Lester for WCS and more at 8pm, help celebrate Bonnie Lucas's birthday.  Teens are FREE, OCWCSDC members get a discount

  • Saturday July 24 1st 2010 Club Challenge at Top Cats,  open 2 step Jack & Jill

  • Orange County Great Park in Irvine has Friday dance parties and Saturday concerts.  Admission is free, parking is $10

  • You can still get discounted tickets until Aug 1 for  Swingin Summer Dance Camp in Palm Springs.  More room were released at the Marriott Renaissance, book your room now before they sell out again.  Mark and I have our room and tickets.
